[Review] Etude House Green Tea Mask

Good morning, and Happy Friday everyone!! It’s the end of the week, AT LAST!!!

Today’s review is brought to you by the selflessness of one of my students, who gifted me a couple different Etude House masks yesterday. Last night I tried the Etude House Green Tea Mask:

Here’s the backside:

And the ingredients/instructions:

I like how short the ingredient list is. I’ve seen some masks with lists that are at least twice as long!!

Inside the packet:

The mask is folded in on itself inside, with no plastic backing. Seems pretty consistent with the last one I tried from Etude House (the Acai Berry one). I sniffed the packet at this point – it smells a bit herbal/plant-ish… can’t quite describe it, but it’s not unpleasant or strong.

Here’s the unfolded mask:

There are tiny, tiny cuts in a weird spot for the chin, but otherwise no other ways to adjust it on your face other than just folding it in places. Which worked fine for me!

Here’s my BEFORE face, cleanse and toned:

I have a couple small blemishes that popped up over the day. Hopefully the green tea calms my skin down!

My mask face:

This isn’t the perfect fit, but it’s pretty damn close. I only had to fold it a bit near the chin, and the upper lip isn’t perfect, but otherwise I like the fit a lot!

It’s not too thin and not too thick. I didn’t feel like it was going to rip on me. This one seemed to take a bit longer to soak into my skin than their Acai Berry version. What I did like a lot about it was that it clung to my face as soon as I put it on – no need to adjust it the entire time! 🙂 I also liked how it fit around my nose/mouth/eyes.

Here’s my AFTER face in the morning (sorry for the quality, my phone didn’t like the cloudy-day lighting):

This pink spots on my face are from my Mizon Acence Blemish Out Pink Spot.

Overall, I think I’ll probably repurchase. It’s moisturizing, absorbs quickly, and I do think it helped calm down my skin overnight.

Have you guys tried this one? What other Etude House masks have you guys tried?

  1. I’ve tried this one and I do like it! I had a sore face from troubles and it helped to soothe them. My favourite is the Tea Tree one though, my face is considerably less red and inflamed the next day after that one.

Totally jealous of your lovely skin too, btw! It looks so glowy! 🙂
