[Review] PhytoTree Cucumber Gel

I’ve been using this as a body lotion for about two moths now and I’m ready to talk about my thoughts on it!

Its cucumber-like shape already makes it a cool icebreaker for any new acquaintances coming over… Haha.

I like that it’s a squeeze tube and that it is designed so that the opening is facing down when it is stored upright. It isn’t top-heavy.

It has 250ml of product, and I’d say it will last me for a total of 2.5 to 3 months at this rate. Not bad.

Here is a swatch:

It smells lovely, it just has a light cucumber scent to it. It has a gel consistency, so it’s very light and absorbs really nicely, yet it still feels very hydrating. It kind of reminds me of the consistency of the Mizon Snail Recovery Gel.  I wouldn’t say this is a great extreme dry/cold weather moisturizer for my body, but it does a great job for me in the Spring/Summer/Fall!

My skin really feels great after using this, and I will definitely repurchase this for next Summer! I’ve tried the Nature Republic Aloe Vera Gel and the Dermal Aloe Vera Gel too, but this PhytoTree Cucumber Gel topped them both! It’s much more hydrating than either of those and absorbs into my skin beautifully and leaves it hydrated. I feel the Dermal aloe gel didn’t absorb well enough and the Nature Republic gel didn’t leave me feeling hydrated enough.

In conclusion, I will definitely be buying this again and I recommend giving it a try! But a word of warning – this is more suited for light hydration, which is what I need for the Summer where I live.

Have you guys tried this product? What are your favorite summertime body lotions?
