September Favorites!!

Hello everyone! I’ve decided to spontaneously churn out a monthly favorites, which I usually forget to do! XD

I’ll start out with my favorite skincare items last month:

Bioré Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50++++
I’ve repurchased this many times over and, despite trying three or four other kinds of facial sunscreens (Japanese and Taiwanese), I’ve come to depend on this one. I’m afraid to try others now since this one works so well for me!! I reviewed this side-by-side with the old version they had HERE.

Nature Republic Fresh Green Tea 70 Emulsion

I starting using this in late September, but it’s quickly become a favorite for daytime use now that the weather is getting chilly and drier. It’s moisturizing enough for the whole day and yet not too heavy. I recently reviewed this emulsion HERE.

And now for the makeup! I’ve also been leaning towards a lot of American products last month, since I just got back to the States. But no American face makeup has been able to top my AB face makeup… The drugstore choices are just not light enough for me in terms of shades (I’m NC15).

Luna Water Essence FOUNPACT SPF35++

I own several cushions and many BB creams, but I’ve been trying to use things up that need to be used. This Luna foundation needs to be used up in a timely manner because it has SO much moisture locked into it -it starts to dry out if you don’t use it for a long time. I love it so much, it’d be an excellent heavy coverage Winter product, since other heavy foundations tend to dry my skin out. This keeps my skin feeling soft and moisturized and keeps it looking glowy!

Peripera Cushion Blusher (Orange)

This cushion blusher has just been so convenient to use that I’ve been reaching for it often instead of my powder or stick blushes. It just helps me get done faster! And it looks great! I’ve reviewed this one HERE.

Wet N Wild Kohl Crayon Pour Les Yeux (brown and buff)

These pencils are nice and soft and smudge easily. They don’t have as good staying power as the Clio eyeliners, but for the price it’s not bad. It stays throughout my workday (8 hours), but it wouldn’t stay if I cry during a sad movie or get sweaty during a workout.

Peripera Choco-Choco Brow Mascara (Dark Choco)

This is still the best eyebrow mascara (tinted) that I’ve ever found! I can use it in combination with an eyebrow pencil for a darker brow look or I can use it alone for a lightly tinted/lightly filled brow look. It’s soooo good. It holds my brows in place and it makes them look effortlessly beautiful! Will definitely repurchase. I reviewed this HERE.

Peripera Speedy Eyebrow Auto Pencil

I’ve had this for so long that all the print has rubbed off it!! It’s taking soooo many months to actually get through this pencil. Lasts forever. It’s very soft and blends easily. I like it. But I’m also curious about trying other brow pencils! I’ve reviewed this one HERE.

Wet N Wild Master Conceal (Fair)

This formula isn’t as smooth as the Maybelline Fit Me concealer, but after some more effort in patting it around my under eyes, it does have a great lightening and concealing effect right where I need it. It’s a decent concealer and you only need a tiny little bit.

CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara (Brown)

This is my HG mascara!!! I can’t live without this mascara. There are AB mascaras that are more waterproof than this, but this mascara from CoverGirl is the only mascara I’ve ever found that never clumps!! It doesn’t matter how many layers you put on!! I missed having this in Taiwan. I have it in Brown and Black-brown as well.

Maybelline Color Sensational The Buff Lipstick (Blush Beige)

Maybelline has my all-time favorite drugstore nude lipsticks!! They are so affordable and so gorgeous!!! This one is almost an exact dupe for my favorite BareMinerals lipstick shade.

And that’s the end! Here’s a simple, every-day FOTD using everything I mentioned above:

And that’s what I’ve been using pretty much every day for the past month!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!! ❤

  1. I really like the CG Clump Crusher mascara too – I was really surprised at how much I liked it considering it’s not meant to be a super volumizing formula (which is more of what I prefer).
And how cute is that cushion blusher!
