[Haul] Jolse – Makeup & Skincare

I went nuts at Jolse recently and hauled all the things!! Read on for a full description with pictures!

I’ve been keeping a wishlist for the past few months and I finally checked off a lot of the things on that wishlist with this haul! Needless to say, I’m going on a no-buy for the next couple months so I can get through reviewing these products and using some of them up before buying anything else!

And, of course, kitteh approves of the box!

As always with my Jolse hauls, everything was very well-packaged and cushioned. You can see off the left in the picture above that they did fill any empty space with a generous amount of bubble wrap and… air-pouches? What are those called??

All the items were VERY well-wrapped in many layers of bubble wrap and tape as well, and nothing came damaged – which was very important, since I purchased some palettes and powders this time!

I posted a picture of all the samples I received from this Jolse haul on my Instagram if you’re curious (you can see them on top there), and if you’d like me to do a more detailed post here with a full list of items, just let me know in a comment. ā¤

If you’re curious about the packaging & swatches, stay tuned for my full reviews and check my Instagram account! šŸ™‚

  • Etude House Play Color Eyes In The Cafe Palette
I’ve had my eyes on this palette ever since it came out! I’m a sucker for packaging and I LOVE COFFEE (nursing student here). I’ve used it a couple times now and the shades are definitely orientated towards more Korean eye looks, but I’m learning how to use them! The color payoff is good so far. Now I’ve got my eye on the Juice one with more peachy/orange colors! Heehee!
  • Etude House Face Designing Contouring Palette in #1Ā Golden Brown (they had a #2 Pink BrownĀ version for people with pink undertones)
I had to get this when I saw Edward AvilaĀ talk this up on his YouTube channel! I’ve used it a couple times already as well and it does blend very easily and is great for those with fair skin and yellow undertones.
  • Etude House Precious Mineral Compact in Beige
This comes in 5 different shades, and Beige is the third lightest shade. I don’t know what inspired me to get this compact, but I realized recently that all my powder compacts are Western brands and I was curious about the quality of the Korean compacts, so I went with my most trusted makeup brand, Etude House. I like it so far! Review coming soon!
  • The Saem Cover Perfection Concealer Foundation in 1.5 NaturalĀ Beige
This comes in three different shades – I got the middle one. I really wanted to get this after I saw all the raves about the concealer that corresponds with this foundation (which I hauled as well, see below). I’ve tried it out twice now and both times it gave me a flawless, high-coverage finish that lasted a large part of my day without settling into my fine lines or pores. Full review coming soon!

  • The Saem Cover Perfection Tip ConcealerĀ inĀ 1.5 Natural Beige
This also comes in three shades like the foundation and I got the middle shade. I bet the light shades would be suitable for people around NC10-15? I got this because of all the rave reviews, and let me tell you… I’m glad I got it! šŸ˜‰
  • Skinfood Honey Lip Treatment
I was looking for something moisturizing that I can put on my lips before bed, since I’ve been wearing a lot of lip stains and matte liquid lipsticks that dry my lips out. This seemed promising and affordable, so I’m giving it a try.
  • Etude House Dear Darling Tint inĀ Grapefruit Syrup
I wanted to try a Korean oil tint and Etude House is my go-to for trying out new things, since I can usually depend on their quality. I’ve loved it so far, pretty impressed! I’ll definitely give this a full review soon.
  • Etude House Fresh Cherry TintĀ inĀ Cherry Peach
I got a sample of this in different colors and I’ve been planning on getting one for months now. I settled on the pinky-peach one online – it’s a very good natural, every-day tint that I’ll be wearing often! I’ll probably review this one along with the Oil Tint.

SKINCARE

  • Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect Oil Cleansing Tissue
Sometimes I’m just too tired to do my whole skincare routine with the oil cleansing and stuff, especially when I have clinicals. Usually I use Yes-To-Carrots wipes, but I want to make sure I’m really getting all my makeup and sunscreen off even if I just use wipes at night – I’ve tried oil cleansing tissues (from A’Pieu) before, and I figured I should have some around, so I’ve been eyeing this one for awhile.
  • Goodal Waterest Lotus Water Cleansing Tissue
Since I was grabbing some oil cleansing tissues, I decided to get the normal cleansing tissues as well since the only Korean ones I’ve tried before were from Mamonde. Time to explore! šŸ™‚
  • Missha Super Aqua Perfect Cleansing Oil In Tissue
I picked up this oil cleansing tissue as well when I saw that itĀ contained 80 sheets – that way I can compare if the Missha or the Skinfood one is better and which one is more worth my while. I like that this one has twice as many, hopefully it’s good, too!

  • EtudeĀ House Berry AHA Bright Peel
I currently have a peeling gel that’s really nice from Holika Holika, but I was curious about this one since it comes in a tube. More hygienic!
  • Etude House True Relief Moist Cream
I loved that this comes in a tube! Plus, I received samples of this last time I hauled from Etude House, and I did enjoy it. I like that I get 150mL of the cream, too, usually you only get a measly 50mL of cream in a tub, that’s the more typical cream-product size. This is a great deal!
  • Etude House Honey Cera Emulsion
Those who have been following my blog for a while will recognize this bottle! I’ve bought this before and it takes forever to finish – I’m actually still trying to finish a bottle right now. I love how soft it makes my skin feel and the texture it has. This is my second bottle, a back-up for when I do finish the one I have.
  • Etude House Honey Cera Toner
I’ve tried almost everything in the Honey Cera line, but I hadn’t gotten the chance to try the toner, so here we are! We shall see! šŸ™‚

  • EtudeĀ House Honey Cera Essence
I’ve gone through one of these before and I’ve been missing it this winter. This will be my second bottle! I did do a full review on this one, if you’re curious.
  • Tony Moly Intense Care Dual Effect Sleeping Pack
I’ve gotten a couple samples of this one from Jolse in the past and I really, really liked it! This has been on my wishlist for a year or more now, and I’m finally purchasing it! Yay!! I’ll probably do a full review on this as well! šŸ™‚

I think it’s safe to say that hauling from Jolse is always more satisfying in larger amounts – I might have to keep doing my hauls this way. I get more samples if I wait and then order all my items at once instead of more frequent hauls. Love Jolse!! ā¤

I got so many things, I almost don’t know where to start with the reviews – leave a comment below or on my Instagram post about this haul if you have an idea of which product I should review first! I’ll start making a to-do list on my calendar this weekend! ā¤

  1. The Saem foundation and concealer sound fabulous – can’t wait for a review of those!
Hmm you have me convinced to try the Etude House Honey Cera Emulsion. I’m always interested whenever someone repurchases an item.
I’ve only done smaller orders on Jolse so far but maybe I’ll save up my wish list next time and do a big one.

    1. I’ve been really impressed so far, can’t wait to type it up and document! O(^ā–½^)O Yeah, saving up and doing large hauls seems to be the way to go with Jolse, I love it!!

  2. Great haul! And I’m looking forward to reading the review on The Saem Foundation. And I was wondering… Did you have to pay any custom fees? I’m waiting for my order and I’m a bit anxious as this is my first time ordering from Jolse.
